[Chronicall/Avaya Call Reporting] Anti-Virus/Firewall Exclusions

Question

What kind of exclusions should I include in my Anti-Virus software in regards to Chronicall/ACR?

Likewise, what ports should be excluded for a Firewall setup?

Note: If the Chronicall/ACR software works correctly with those obstacles disabled but does not when enabled, please reach out to whoever manages your security measures as Xima Software will not be able to troubleshoot further.

1. Carefully overview and exclude any ports needed for the functionality of the software using our Ports used by Chronicall article
2. Ensure the following URL's are whitelisted on your Chronicall or ACR server:
   • http://rest.ximasoftware.com
   • https://rest.ximasoftware.com
   • ads.chronicall.ximasoftware.com (Optional, if not allowed it will slow Desktop loading as Admin)
   • stats.ximasoftware.com (Optional)
   • ximasoftware.com
   • http://www.ximasoftware.com/test
3. Exclude the Chronicall/ACR directory itself.
   • On Windows:
     • C:\Program Files\Chronicall
     • C:\Program Files\Avaya Call Reporting
   • On Linux:
     • /var/lib/chronicall
     • /var/lib/avaya call reporting
4. Services to whitelist on their applicable servers
   • "Chronicall Server"
   • "Chronicall Recording Library Server"
   • "Chronicall Multimedia Server"
   • "Chronicall Realtime Node"

If a site cannot hit rest.ximasoftware.com to retrieve its license file, you may see the following error when installing and/or updating the software:
