Answer
After Chronicall converts a VM Pro recording to an .spx file, it compares the length of the audio in the original .wav with the length of the audio in the .spx file. If they are off by more than a couple seconds (because the .spx conversion “truncated” some of the audio), it saves the original .wav file in the vmp_truncated_original directory. Generally speaking, unless the customer is missing recordings in C2G, this folder is OK to clear out.
