App fails to launch after installation
I have run the installer but it won't bring up the configuration page
This is usually a local file issue
This is commonly the result of running the Apps & Features uninstall and the system not removing specific files
Steps
- After selecting Uninstall from Apps & Features from Chronicall Desktop, check the following locations to see if there are still any remaining Chronicall Desktop files
- C:\Users\[User that downloaded the Desktop Function]
- Is there a .chronicall folder still? If so go ahead and delete this folder
- C:\Users\[User that downloaded the Desktop Function]\AppData\Local
- Is there a Chronicall Desktop folder there? If so go ahead and delete this folder
- C:\Users\[User that downloaded the Desktop Function]
- Try running the install function one final time afterwards. If it still fails, reach out to us.
- NOTE: It is possible your local firewall or antivirus is blocking the install as well if it fails again. We recommend disabling your antivirus and trying again
