Importing Reports
To import reports follow these steps:
- Go to Reports > Import / Export Report from the Chronicall Homepage. This will bring up the Report Archiver.
- Click the Import button at the bottom left of the Archiver screen.
- A new window will open allowing you to select the location of a file on your system.
- The file needed is a Xima Report Archive file and contains all of the information needed to import one or many reports into your Chronicall system.
- To import the report(s), simply click the Browse button, select the file, and click the Open button.
- Last, click Submit.
Exporting Reports
To export reports follow these steps:
- Go to Reports > Import / Export Report from the Chronicall Homepage. This will bring up the Report Archiver.
- The left pane shows all of the reports that are currently installed on your system. To add a report to your export archive, double-click it, or select it and click Add Report.
- To remove a report from the right pane, double-click it, or select it and click Remove Report.
- Once you have all of the reports you wish to export showing in the right pane, click the Export button.
- This will open up a new window and let you choose where you want to save the Xima Report Archive.
- Select export and close the window. All of your exported report information should now be stored in this Xima Report Archive.
Downloading the Xima Report Archive (.xra)
To ensure that Internet Explorer will allow you to download the Xima Report Archive file you may need to change the "Automatic prompting for file downloads" option to "Enable".
- From the browser menu, select the Tools / Internet Options.
- Select the Security tab and click on Local intranet.
- Click the Custom level... button and scroll down to the Downloads section of the settings dialog that opens.
- Select the Enable option under Automatic prompting for file downloads and click OK. This sets Internet Explorer to always prompt you when you request to download a file from your local network, such as a Chronicall report or a Xima Report Archive.
