A few seconds have been cut from the beginning of my Voicemail Pro recordings.
Chronicall and the Recording Library module are in no way responsible for the contents of call recordings made through the Voicemail Pro as all actual recording is handled by the IP Office and Voicemail Pro.
By default, the IP Office plays a short audio clip at the beginning of each recorded call that informs the caller that they are being recorded. The IP Office automatically cuts an equal length of time from the beginning of each recording in order to avoid capturing that clip.
The caller advice clip can be disabled by going into the Voicemail Pro system preferences and deselecting the Play Advice on Call Recording option.
However, the IP Office will still cut a few seconds from the beginning of each recording, even though the advice clip no longer plays. To solve this, you will also need to open the IP Office's configuration file in Manager. Open the User section and select NoUser. Under the Source Numbers tab, click Add and enter NO_CALLER_ADVICE.
