When attempting to launch Chronicall Desktop you get an error regarding ffmpegWin64.exe or ffprobeWin64.exe
After updating Chronicall or the Desktop application you get a java error regarding one of these two files unable to be downloaded.
This is due to the files being unable to be extracted by the bootstrapper for the .chronicall folder located under C:\Users\[Profile Name]\
Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
- Locate a user that has a working Desktop application
- Under the directory mentioned C:\Users\[Profile Name]\.chronicall\cached-jars locate the two files mentioned and copy them to the affected user account folder under the similar directory
- Launch Chronicall Desktop again
