How does using the recording dock differ between VRTX and Voicemail Pro.
VRTX Call recorded by Chronicall Recording Rule or VM Pro Avaya Manager:
When the call begins, a dock will appear with two buttons. These buttons are a record button with an arrow and a pause button. Since the call is already set to be recorded, you can pause the call and dead air will fill until you unpause the call. The record button with an arrow does nothing.
VRTX Call not recorded by Chronicall Recording Rule:
When the call begins, a dock will appear with two buttons. These buttons are a record button and a record button with an arrow. The record button will start the recording from the point of pressing the button and will be replaced with a pause button to stop the recording. The record button with the arrow will record the call from the beginning of the call, and then the record button will be replaced with the pause.
VMPro Call not recorded by Avaya Manager:
If you would like to start a VM Pro recording midway through a call, the agent must not be set to have their calls automatically record, and a manual record button must be added to their phone.
