This article covers how to fix the Recording Library service if it isn't launching. If you are on Chronicall 3.95 or above, it has Java 32 bit and 64 bit built in. You can disregard this article.
1. On Chronicall 3.9.4 and earlier, you will want to verify the Java path in the settings is correct. Follow the below file path to find the file, right click and run recordinglibraryw.exe as an Administrator.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Xima Software\Chronicall\recording library\recordinglibraryw.exe
2. Select the Java tab, and verify the file path is populated. It is recommended to check Use Default so the path auto updates when you update 32 bit Java. If you are running 32 bit and 64 bit Java, you will want to update uncheck the box and left click (...) to point this to the jvm.dll inside the 64 bit Java install.
