Manual Record and Pause Permissions

The VRTX on Chronicall gives you the option to manually record and pause recordings. The option to manually record and pause with Chronicall Desktop can be removed if you do not want your agents to do so. Once permissions are set, see Manually Record and Pause with VRTX for how it works in practice.

Begin by going to System Settings and expanding the Recording Library section. Expand the Record/Pause Permissions portion by clicking on the ellipsis.

The Record/Pause Permissions have 4 different options: Allow All, Prohibit All, Allow Selected, and Prohibit Selected.

  • Allow All: All Agents can manually record calls or pause recordings.
  • Prohibit All: No Agents can manually record calls or pause recordings.
  • Allow Selected: Only Agents selected can manually record calls or pause recordings. (This is the option used in the screenshot above)
  • Prohibit Selected: Only Agents selected cannot manually record calls or pause recordings.
